Revisions to DUNGEON HACKS
Image Not Found. Before leaving for Roguelike Celebration on September 17, I decided to revise the paperback and Kindle editions of DUNGEON HACKS. I only had time to read through and make corrections to the paperback edition before leaving, and recently (as of a few minutes ago) uploaded a revised Kindle manuscript to Amazon.
You can get the revised paperback edition now. Amazon is reviewing updates to the Kindle edition; it should go leave within the next 12 hours. If you've already purchased DUNGEON HACKS for Kindle and want to make sure you get the revisions, follow these instructions to enable automatic updates on your e-reader.
Just to set expectations, my revisions did not include expanded content or bonus material. As I've written about on the blog before, DUNGEON HACKS had some nagging issues that I'd been meaning to tie up. I haven't had a break in my scheduled for 16 months and counting, but heading to Roguelike Celebration to talk about my experience writing the book seemed like a golden opportunity, so I took it.
At the end of my talk, I gave a short Q&A. One attendee asked if I had plans to write a second volume of DUNGEON HACKS. The answer, as of right now, is no. Not because I don't want to, but because I'm at a point where I have too many books scheduled for this year and next—probably into 2018—that I cannot commit to more right now.
I have ideas for a sequel, a direction that flows naturally from how DUNGEON HACKS wrapped up. Until I have time to write it, though, my revisions to the original book close the loop on the book.
Enjoy!
