New StoryBundle includes Dungeon Hacks: Expanded Edition and GameDev Stories: Volume 2
Image Not Found.Dungeon Hacks was published almost four years ago. Just over a year after its publication, I declared it finished and moved on to other projects. Still, the book remains a popular seller. With that in mind, I’m proud to announce Dungeon Hacks: Expanded Edition, available now as part of StoryBundle’s next collection of books on game development and culture.
Dungeon Hacks: Expanded Edition contains a new introduction, a transcript of the panel I moderated between Rogue co-creators Michael Toy, Glenn Wichman, and Ken Arnold, and three other books: One-Week Dungeons: Diary of a Seven-Day Roguelike Challenge, Red to Black: The Making of Rogue Legacy, and Anything But Sports: The Making of FTL. If you haven’t bought Dungeon Hacks, or if you missed the other books it now contains, you’ll enjoy the Expanded Edition.
You can find the bundle at storybundle.com/games for a limited time—approximately the next 3 weeks or so. The bundle also includes GameDev Stories: Volume 2, another collection of interviews I’ve conducted for assorted books and articles over the past several years.
This collection, called the Spring Fired-Up Bundle, is the first I’ve curated from top to bottom. It includes 13 books, StoryBundle’s largest ever in this category. Four of the books are available for $5, while the whole set will run you only $15. Thirteen books for less than $20 is a steal.
Happy reading,
~David
